Dynic USA Corporation has gained listing for several of its Sirius® thermal transfer ribbons to be used with FDA approved products in pharmaceutical and medical barcode printing applications. Dynic’s S2 Stellar Wax, HT8 Hi-Speed Near-Edge Wax-Resin, and the new HT8+ Hi-Speed Near-Edge Wax-Resin ribbon can now be used as a drop-in product on FDA approved barcode packages. In other words, Dynic’s listed ribbons make it easier for manufacturers who use other FDA-listed components to gain FDA approval of the entire package. S2 is Dynic’s most popular ribbon. It is the only high performance wax ribbon on the market proven to print at speeds of up to 12 I.P.S. (inches per second) and has the best anti-static backcoat on the market. It can be used in most Datamax, Eltron, Intermec, Paxar/Monarch, Printronix, RJS, Sato, and Zebra printers. S2 provides good scratch and smear resistance when used to print on coated, uncoated, and gloss papers as well as on some synthetics. HT8 and HT8+ are wax-resin ribbons for use in in-line flexible package printers, a.k.a. high-speed near-edge printers. It is specifically targeted for use in printers such as those made by OpenDate, Bell-Mark, Norwood Marking Systems, and Markem. These ribbons provide excellent smear, scratch, chemical, and water resistance on paper, synthetics, films, and flexible packaging substrates. Both ribbons can print at more than 20 I.P.S. |
