AIM, Inc. announced today the departure of Brian Wynne from his position as Executive Vice President, Global Integration. Mr. Wynne has served the organization for 3 years in that capacity and previously as Chief Executive Officer of AIM International. Commenting on Mr. Wynne’s departure, AIM, Inc., CEO Larry Roberts said: “Brian has made a substantial contribution to the AIDC industry during his tenure and we will miss him as we move forward.” Mr. Roberts noted that Mr. Wynne was brought on board to organize AIM International in 1993, a time of considerable growth and challenge for the AIM organization. “His leadership and international experience were critical assets needed to reposition AIM to serve the industry on a global basis,” said Roberts. Since the formal establishment of AIM, Inc. in 1999, Mr. Wynne has worked to redesign the global membership structure. He was responsible for the establishment of AIM’s new User Council and the Solution Center to connect AIDC suppliers with users with new compliance requirements. He has also worked to develop regional markets, particularly in Asia where AIM has recently opened a regional AIM office in Hong Kong and licensed AIM China. “I’ve been honored to serve this exciting and dynamic industry for the last 8 ½ years,” said Wynne. “I think our industry is a great example of what can be achieved when people work together to accomplish global objectives – which has never been more important than it is today.” Mr. Wynne is leaving to establish an international business development practice. He will remain available to AIM on a limited basis to insure a smooth transition of his responsibilities.
