Warrendale, PA -- February 26, 2009 -- AIM Global, the worldwide trade association and authority on automatic identification and mobility technologies, announced today that Paul Gillin, an expert in the field of social media, will speak on the afternoon of April 21st during the annual AIM Technology Leadership Summit to be held April 20-22, at the Hyatt Woodfield in Chicago, IL. According to Gillin, "Social media is the most important development in media since the printing press. It will transform the way institutions interact with their constituents and the way people communicate with each other." He will outline how companies can use podcasts, blogging and other social media tools to enhance B2B and consumer communications.

Paul GilliinGillin, a writer, speaker, veteran technology journalist and online marketing consultant, specializes in social media and the application of personal publishing to increase brand awareness and augment business marketing. Since 2005, he has advised marketers and business executives on strategies to optimize their use of social media and online channels to reach buyers cost effectively.
