The ISO/IEC 29160 (RFID Emblem) is a unique, visually distinctive logo that provides a simple, visual guide to identify RFID-enabled labels, tags and readers. The Emblem contains either a generic 'RFID' designation or a two-character code to indicate the frequency range, air interface protocol standard and, typically, data content. The use of this emblem is referenced for use in a number of pending ISO/IEC RFID standards.
ISO/IEC 29160 (RFID Emblem) has been approved and publication is expected in the near future. The ISO/IEC document will supersede the AIM RFID Emblem document. Therefore, AIM is no longer offering the AIM RFID Emblem document for sale.
Among the changes in the ISO/IEC document is the removal of the small "RFID" text from the graphics that contain alphanumeric codes. The graphics for the Emblem on this website have been modified to conform to the approved ISO/IEC document and are available for download at no cost here.
