Liaison Relationships
AIM understands the importance of creating and maintaining relationships within the automatic identification and data capture industry. Through these relationships, AIM and its members strengthen their value within the global marketplace and are better positioned to promote the adoption of current technologies along with future innovation in automatic identification and data capture.
As a liaison to standards groups throughout the world, AIM serves as a resource to support these groups in achieving their goals, in addition to advocating the effective use of AIDC best practices.
AIM Liaison Relationships include:
CEN/TC 225 |European Committee for Standardization - AIDC Technologies
Standardization of data carriers for automatic identification and data capture, of the data element architecture therefore, of the necessary test specifications and of technical features for the harmonization of cross-sector applications. Establishment of an appropriate system of registration authorities, and of means to ensure the necessary maintenance of standards.
NFC Forum |Near Field Communication development, application & solutions
The NFC Forum is a non-profit industry association whose membership draws from all parts of the NFC ecosystem. Working within the framework of the NFC Forum, member organizations share development, application, and marketing expertise to develop the best possible solutions for advancing the use of Near Field Communication, enhancing the lives of consumers worldwide and advancing members’ business objectives.
ISO/PC 308 |Standardization in the field of Chain of Custody (CoC) for products
Standardization in the field of Chain of Custody (CoC), including terminology, principles, requirements for and control systems used by supply chain actors with regards to the management of products in terms of their specified characteristics. The work is intended to be applicable to all products, whereas services are excluded. The objective of the committee is to define a generic CoC process framework, which serves a wide range of sectors, raw materials and end products, and covers specific product characteristics, to enhance the transparency, process efficiency and comparability of CoC models.
ISO/TC 22/SC 41 |Specifications of construction, installation and test of components for vehicles using gaseous fuels
Specifications of construction, installation and test of components for vehicles using gaseous fuels, including their assemblies and the interface with refueling systems
