AIM to Launch AIDC Webinar Series

Series Kicks Off with Executives from ChainLink Research

Cranberry Township, PA – May 14, 2015AIM, the international industry association and recognized authority on innovation and technologies in automatic identification and data capture (AIDC), including barcode, RFID, RTLS, NFC, the Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile computing, announced today the creation of a webinar series designed to showcase the latest in automatic identification technologies and provide professional development opportunities within the industry.

The series, which kicks off next month, will not only feature trends and cutting edge topics, but presenters who serve as executives from a variety of corporate enterprises and markets. This combination will allow participants a unique experience to interact with industry leaders in a more personal environment.

"Having the ability to launch yet another way in which to connect industry professionals, AIM members, and other thought leaders in automatic identification innovation and technology certainly adds to AIM’s commitment within the industry,” said Mary Lou Bosco, Chief Operating Officer of AIM, Inc. "It is our hope the AIM Webinar Series will provide fresh and unique opportunities for both participants and presenters.”

Ms. Bosco went on to share that AIM’s first webinar in the series, RFID Fundamentals: RFID Technology & Applications, will be held on Thursday, June 18th and feature executives from ChainLink Research, Inc., based in Newton, Massachusetts. Leading the session will be Ann Grackin, ChainLink’s Chief Executive Officer and Bill McBeath, ChainLink’s Chief Technology Officer. The webinar will focus on understanding the evolution of radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies being used today and how these ever-changing innovations are being applied and implemented.
