Public Review
Periodically, AIM announces a Notice of Public Review for proposed standards and guidelines. Public review documents are available as a download for review purposes only. The review copy will be available for differing amounts of time, depending on the document's review cycle.

Ultracode 2023 - The Ultracode 2023 Symbology (“Ultracode”) is a family of colour multi-row, variable size two-dimensional (2D) matrix symbols incorporating both structural rules for symbol damage detection and Reed-Solomon Error Correction (RSEC) for codeword error correction. The Ultracode symbol is designed to be printed with any colour printer or displayed with a standard Red, Green, Blue (sRGB)-compliant electronic display. It may be read with any standard sRGB-compliant scanner, colour digital camera or smartphone. Ultracode 2023 symbols are visually differentiated from legacy Ultracode 2016 symbols. NOTE: The use of Ultracode 2016 for new applications is deprecated and not recommended.
