An article in the 7 February 2012 issue of EE Times Asia reports a 21 percent increase in returns of consumer electronics since 2007 and offers some analysis from Accenture on why it's a problem companies need to address -- not in how to process returns but how to reduce the number of them. This column obviously isn't about consumer electronics but some of Accenture's recommendations should be considered by AIDC vendors and the converse of these recommendations offers sound advice to purchasers of AIDC systems.
