This project focuses on leveraging RFID technology to revolutionize PET bottle recycling, addressing key challenges in traceability, audit, efficiency, and environmental impact. By implementing RFID tags on PET bottle bales, we’ve enhanced traceability throughout the recycling journey, ensuring transparency and accountability. This has significantly improved recycling efficiency, reducing waste and promoting resource optimization, thus contributing to global sustainability goals. The project demonstrates the transformative potential of RFID technology in promoting sustainability and driving positive change in the automatic identification and data capture industry, aligning with global efforts to mitigate environmental degradation and preserve resources for future generations.
